Country House Policy
Dear Guests,
it is our pleasure to welcome you and wish you a pleasant stay. Below we present our guidelines to provide you with the information that will enable you to make the best use of the services we can offer. The entrance to the Oliveto Sul Lago Country House implies full acceptance and observance of these regulations.
STAFF
The centre of our Country House is you: you are the main source for the evaluation and constant improvement of your stay at our Country House, so please make any request or report that you consider useful.
We will be your point of reference for any problem that may arise during your stay and for any in-depth information on the services of the facility, but also for tourist information regarding the surroundings, local events and curiosities regarding the area.
BOOKINGS
Reservations can be made by phone or email. In any case, the Country House will confirm in writing the reservation and the conditions offered.
To confirm the reservation, it is required to the person making the reservation to communicate the data of a credit card as a guarantee that will be verified by the Country House with a pre-authorization of an amount equivalent to the first night or with debit in the case of prepaid rates duly reported.
The reservation is also considered valid with a deposit paid by bank transfer if previously agreed upon, if it specifies the period of the stay and the booking party’s details.
It is not included any extra cleaning, consumptions from the minibar or Bar and anything not expressively indicated in the offer.
ARRIVALS – CHECK-IN
From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In case of arrivals at times other than those indicated, please notify the Reception in advance.
At Country House Oliveto Sul Lago, our Reception service is available from 7.00 am untl 9.00 pm.
Upon arrival, Guests must have a valid ID (passport or ID card), including for minors; otherwise the Facility is authorised to refuse hospitality.
The minimum age required to rent a room is the legal age, minors unaccompanied by a person of legal age shall only be accepted if they have a waiver from their parents (or the person legally exercising parental authority), that includes the phone number they can be reached at and a copy of their valid ID (passport or ID card).
Any Guests of customers staying in the Country House, even if temporary, must be promptly communicated to the Reception, where they must come having a valid ID (passport or ID card).
DEPARTURES – CHECK-OUT
We kindly ask our Guests to check out by 11am on the day of your departure.
In case you need to stay longer, just let us know in advance to allow us to do our best to other Guests as well. It is possible to offer a “late check out” but the Country House will charge an additional fee that varies depending on the season and room type.
The balance of the stay is due before the Guest’s departure.
The guarantee provided by credit card with pre-authorization will remain valid for the duration of the stay and will be automatically released as per current banking regulations. The Facility is not responsible for any amounts blocked as a guarantee remaining if the pre-authorization has been duly closed.
The pre-authorisation will be cancelled after departure, subject to room verification, regularity of the stay, as well as payment for any extras and the main conditions of the Guidelines, with possible charge in case of damages, theft, or extras not paid during check-out and/or early departure.
Before paying the balance on the account, it is possible to request the bill in order to properly verify the charges, any errors or omissions must be pointed out before the final bill is issued.
In case an invoice is required, the Guest must point this out in a timely manner by providing header data, address, Tax Code/VAT number, recipient code/PEC. Otherwise, a tax receipt will be issued and it will no longer be possible to cancel it.
It is possible to pay for the stay, meals or services provided in cash, up to a maximum amount of 999.00 Euro (unless otherwise changed by current regulations related to cash payments) or using credit and debit card. The Country House does not accept personal or bank cheques.
Any drinks or snacks purchased from the bar or minibar, and any other extras that may not have been yet recorded by Country House personnel must be communicated to Reception at the time of check-out.
Any persons that are staying in the same room, but have not been declared at the time of the reservation or upon arrival, will be charged to the Guest that made the reservation, with a rate that is increased by 50% compared to the daily rate, with management having the power to report any authorised people found inside the room to the Public Safety Authorities.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations, whether cancelled or changed, will be subject to the cancellation policies on the email received at the time of quotation and confirmation of the reservation.
In case of cancellation of a reservation with a deposit, the deposit will not be returned.
In case of no-show, your credit card will be charged for the first night’s stay.
A refund is not usually foreseen if one is unable to complete the stay during the period of the reservation, due to issues with transportation, errors or other personal reasons as well as modifications such as early departure or delayed arrival. The reserved stay will be charged in its entirety, unless a different agreement has been reached with Management.
WARNINGS AND PROHIBITIONS
Smoking, using stoves or the like for food preparation, using stoves or the like for heating, moving or making improper use of furniture, beds and equipment is strictly prohibited within the rooms and common areas. Any damage and/or deterioration caused by Guests to the Country House equipment shall be borne by the Guests themselves.
It is not permitted to receive and accommodate unregistered persons in the rooms.
It will be the responsibility of the Guests to keep personal items of value, both in the rooms and in the common areas of the facility. We disclaim any responsibility for loss, theft or damage of property items.
Guests are given the room keys. If they are lost, the manager must be promptly notified and will be charged €20.00. For safety reasons, please always lock the front door and the room door.
Children inside the farmhouse must ALWAYS be accompanied by a responsible adult, the Management is not responsible for accidents involving unaccompanied children.
REPORTING FAILURES AND INCONVENIENTS
Timely reporting of failures or other inconveniences will be greatly appreciated, it will help us to improve our services.
The Country House is not responsible for any disruption due to total or partial shortage of supplies such as electrical power, water, gas, phone line or Internet connection, that are not under their own control.
PETS
We always welcome our Guests’ dogs. Pets are allowed as long as they are small and medium-sized and if they are well-mannered and used to contact with other people and animals.
The presence of any small or medium size pet will require a daily supplement of € 20.00 (a welcome gift is included), besides a € 100.00 amount as a guarantee covering any damages caused by the same animal.
It is strictly forbidden to let them climb on beds, sofas and armchairs. It is the responsibility of the owners to exercise their custody and supervision. Any damages caused by the animals are the full responsibility of the owners.
For dogs, access to our breakfast room/restaurant and swimming pool/solarium is prohibited.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE LEFT ALONE INSIDE THE FACILITY AND OFF-LEASH.
TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
Pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 30.06.2003 n. 196, all personal data of our Guests shall be treated both using computer systems as well as manually, in order to carry out fiscal and legal obligations and provide the requested service.
MAIN SERVICES
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Room from 7:30 to 10:00 am. Upon request, it is possible to bring the time forward to 7.00 a.m. but it will not be possible to have express dishes.
For those who would like breakfast in the room, it should be communicated at least the night before by 8 p.m. and filling out the appropriate form for the choice of breakfast desired.
Breakfast for outside Guests has a cost of € 15.00 per person.
Access to the breakfast room is only allowed when wearing suitable clothing, entering wearing a bathrobe or swimming costume is not allowed.
REARRANGEMENT ROOMS
Room tidying will be done daily, every morning. If this service is not appreciated, please notify the Reception and the room will not be made up for the entire day.
Proper use of the toilets inside the rooms is recommended, avoiding throwing anything inside the toilets.
For bathroom linens, in keeping with the environmental protection policy in effect within the Country House, any clean items not placed on the floor by the Guest will not be replaced on a daily basis.
Each room is equipped with a courtesy set and hairdryer.
During your stay, you can request free of charge and limited to availability, to have in your room electric kettle for hot water and / or baby crib by prior arrangement at the time of booking, or at any time by contacting the Reception. It is obligatory to return after use or upon departure the aforementioned equipment, promptly reporting any damage not dependent on the Guest, to avoid incurring charges.
INTERNET
It is possible to connect to the Internet. Wi-Fi is free of charge.

PARKING
The parking lot is not guarded and we are not responsible for any vehicle theft or damaged. We recommend that you lock your vehicles and do not leave items inside the cars.
No parking spaces are guaranteed, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, but there are, however, uncovered and covered parking spaces located in various parts of the Country House and available free of charge to Guests.
SWIMMING POOL
The use of the swimming pool is free for Guests of the farmhouse. Before accessing it, it is necessary to read the Internal Rules of the Country House Oliveto sul Lago swimming pool.
The pool is open from May 1st to September 30th and access is possible from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lifeguard service is not provided.
Guests are kindly requested not to consume food and drinks by the pool or bring bottles and glasses inside the pool. However, it will be possible to sample some of our products near the pool.
Bath towels will be provided by the management.
For the respect of all:
You have chosen a vacation in contact with nature, help us respect it and protect the environment by trying to limit water and electricity consumption.
Quietness is one of our best assets, so we ask our Dear Guests to keep the television and any music systems at a volume that respects the quiet and harmony of the environment, especially during rest hours, from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 23:00 to 09:00.
