How to reach Oliveto Sul Lago
By Plane
Bologna Guglielmo Marconi International Airport (BLQ) is approximately 35 km from Country House Oliveto sul Lago farmhouse in Varignana. A shuttle service is available upon request. Guests arriving by private aircraft can use a private airstrip located 10 km from the Resort, accessible to turboprop, propeller, jet and helicopter aircraft of all categories.

By train
Castel San Pietro Terme railway station (Bologna–Rimini line) is approximately 5 km from Country House Oliveto sul Lago farmhouse and is connected to Bologna Centrale in around 15 minutes. From Bologna Centrale station (approximately 30 km away), a shuttle service is available upon request.
By Car
Highway A14 Ancona–Bologna: Exit at Castel San Pietro. Turn left towards Via Emilia as far as the Castel San Pietro junction. Turn right towards Bologna and continue along Via Emilia for approximately 8 km. Follow the signs for Country House Oliveto sul Lago on the left, then continue for approximately 2 km.
Highway A1 Milan–Bologna: Exit at San Lazzaro di Savena and take the first ring road exit following signs for the service road. Take the last exit and keep left at the roundabout. Continue to the next roundabout and take the third exit. Pass through the village of Osteria Grande and follow the signs indicating a right turn.

A14 Ancona-Bologna motorway: Exit at Castel San Pietro. Turn left towards Via Emilia until the Castel San Pietro crossroads. Turn right towards Bologna and take Via Emilia for c.a. 8km. Follow the signs for Oliveto sul Lago on the left, and continue for approximately 2 km.
A1 Milan-Bologna motorway: Exit at San Lazzaro di Savena and take the first exit of the ring road following the signs for the coplanar road. Take the last exit and at the roundabout keep left. Continue until the next roundabout and take the third exit. Go past the town of Osteria Grande and follow the directions you will find to turn right.
