Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Price stay Far!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an incredibly disappointing experience. We paid 450€ for two nights, expecting a relaxing stay, but encountered numerous issues.

First, the staff seemed very confused and unorganized. We wanted to have dinner or lunch at the hotel, but it was impossible. One time they told us it was fully booked, and another time they said it was closed. On our last night, they forgot our booking entirely.

Additionally, the hotel arranged a transfer for us that cost 50€ for just a 10-minute car ride, which felt like a rip-off. Before taking the taxi, we had to wait because we had booked a table at one restaurant, but they mistakenly brought us to another one. To top it off, the manager was nowhere to be found, apparently enjoying a holiday while the staff struggled to keep things running smoothly.

The worst part was when we parked our rental car, it ended up covered in paint. I had to pay extra to the rental car company to get it cleaned.

The restaurant and bar staff were either working alone or severely understaffed, running around frantically. This created a chaotic environment, which is far from the relaxing atmosphere we had hoped for.

Cleanliness was also a major issue. We had an aperitivo of wine and cheese the day before, and the next day, no one had cleaned up the cheese, which remained on the table in front of the reception. It was still there when we checked out, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's still there a week later.

Overall, this was a terrible experience. I will never return to this hotel or any of their other properties nearby. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

La nostra recente giornata al Country House Oliveto sul Lago ha lasciato un misto di sentimenti contrastanti. Se da una parte la location si è rivelata assolutamente meravigliosa, con una vista mozzafiato e una piscina dalla temperatura perfetta, dall'altra il servizio ricevuto non è stato all'altezza delle aspettative di un posto che si professa a 5 stelle.

Al nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti dalla receptionist che ci ha comunicato di non trovare la nostra prenotazione, nonostante fosse stata fatta telefonicamente un mese prima. Dopo accese discussioni tra il personale, finalmente ci hanno sistemato in piscina, ma siamo stati costretti a pranzare alle 12:00, una scelta non ideale considerando l'ora e l'atmosfera vacanziera.

Il pranzo, pur servito su una terrazza con una vista meravigliosa, non ha rispettato le aspettative. La mia insalata era discreta, ma la piadina con prosciutto era a dir poco deludente: una porzione minuscola con solo prosciutto al costo di 10 euro. La qualità e la quantità del cibo non rispecchiavano affatto il prezzo e il livello dichiarato della struttura.

Anche in piscina, l'organizzazione lasciava a desiderare. Sebbene fossero offerti teli a ogni ospite, non c'era nessuno che si preoccupasse di ritirare quelli usati, lasciando la piscina disordinata e i lettini spesso inutilizzabili dagli ospiti successivi. Questo aspetto ha compromesso il comfort e la godibilità dell'area piscina.

Capisco che errori possano capitare, come il mancato salvataggio di una prenotazione, ma da un luogo di questo tipo ci si aspetta una capacità di risoluzione dei problemi molto superiore. Purtroppo, ci siamo sentiti poco considerati e quasi di troppo, quando invece l'errore era stato della struttura.

Il costo di 45 euro per l'ingresso in piscina e il pranzo con un calice di vino e acqua risulta esorbitante se rapportato al servizio ricevuto.

In conclusione, mentre il posto è davvero splendido e la piscina piacevole, il servizio necessita di significativi miglioramenti. Spero che questa recensione possa essere vista come un feedback costruttivo per migliorare l'esperienza dei futuri ospiti e portare il livello del servizio alla qualità che la location merita.
